Hey there!
Welcome to the new year! This is the first letter of 2023. One of the biggest realizations and learnings I ever had is about time – and the learning is, it flies the fastest. And it’s the same for all of us. Second by second, it turns into years. I feel that in the third or fourth decade of life, we all can definitely experience this fact. Every incident from the past looks like it just happened yesterday, but in reality it’s been years of that incident.
I recently started a book named Four Thousand Weeks. What do you think – how many weeks do you have on planet earth? Pause and guess this number before moving ahead.
For an average age of 80 years, it’s 4000 weeks 🙂. If we consider that we are in a good active state up to 60 years then the average number of weeks would be 3000 weeks.
So how many weeks are left for you here? It was an amusing as well as shocking realization for me. I feel that we should understand that we have finite time on the planet and we need to do the best possible for ourselves, for others and for planet earth in whatever time we have in hand. Before we even realize, it might be the time to go.
I request you to utilize your time in the pursuits which you want to pursue. Follow your dreams, support others, be a good human, take care of people around you, take action for a better world, be happy and spread happiness, be a reason for some smiles, be compassionate and be your own unique self.
I wish that you shine the brightest in this life by utilizing the time in the best way.
