Hey there!

I hope that you must be having a great weekend. Today I want to discuss something which few people might be uncomfortable with but eventually we have to deal with it closely in some way at one or the other point in life; it’s also the fate of all of us some day. And the closest encounter with this thing has changed my life completely and I consider it as the biggest teacher of life.

I am talking about Death. Yes, death seems to be one of the biggest mysteries of life for humans. The first closest encounter with death I had was precisely 17 years ago in 2006 when I lost my brother who was a super wonderful human. I was too young to understand the complexities of life at that time. But life moved on.

The next time it shook me to the core was in 2014 when Papa was diagnosed with cancer and eventually left the world physically. Life moved on again but this time I understood life’s lessons in a different way completely. In my whole life, I can’t forget those last 10 months in which I lived completely with Papa.

One of the most important learnings came in the form that we all are mortal beings. None of us will be here after 100 years from today. We all have limited time and we have to utilize it in the best possible way. How can we waste a single second? Isn’t it? Each one of us is a unique entity which happens ONLY ONCE in the whole cosmos. So we need to be our own unique self without copying any other human being.

Another thing, experiencing death closely helped me to make some big risky decisions in life whether it’s leaving my job abroad and coming back to India 10 years ago or sticking to Sanskriti even though I was working as a one man army for a couple of years. I can focus on what actually matters to me and what I want to actually do in my life.

There are many more big learnings which can’t be written in this small space. I can write a complete book on that. Life is big and so is mysterical death as it’s the end but a new beginning as well which none of us know about. I know very well that every human loss in physical form is beyond all comprehension, the void created by such physical loss can never be filled.

I apologize for writing about it if it’s problematic for you today but I really want you to reflect on your life today considering that there will be a day which will be the last day and we might even won’t know about it. Are you living a life which you want to live? Are you creating your legacy in any form? Are you making an impact and creating a beautiful world in some way?

My friend, we won’t even realize and time will pass by. So I sincerely request you to start living a life in the direction of your biggest dream, start thinking about creating an impact, start living a life which you actually want. You have limited time on planet earth. Please make this journey a beautiful one, a worth having one.

As always, I am here to support you in any way if I can be of any help in your journey.

Your friend for life,

Jogi
